I'm back!!

It has been a very long time since my last post. I finished Peter Mac 2 weeks ago, had one week off then straight back to uni! During the week I had off, I went to Phillip Island with ff and some friends. There, we went A'mazing things, watched the penguins, trout farms, go karting and more!
Had hot pot on the first night, then bbq breakfast/lunch. It was good fun cooking but not cleaning the damn bbq afterwards...

I am now back at uni for one week. Quiet week of intro classes and stuff, but already piling up with assignments as well. So can't be bothered!

The med rad ball is coming up... diamond and ice theme... live band and drinks. Better be good.

Tomorrow will be my last day at Peter Mac. The past 7 weeks have gone by so quick and the whole experience has been awesome. In a way I think I will miss waking up every morning to go to work but ohwell, maybe I will get an intern position there in the future. Fingers crossed! I have a one week break before semester 2 starts and this is definitely not enough after all the hard work we have been through. So I must make the most of my trip to Philip Island with ff and friends. So excited.

Today I received an email from connex, usually I just delete their emails but today their subject of their email caught my attention because it had 'peter mac' in it. So I opened it and here was what the email said:

You can also help on Connex for Cancer Day itself - Thursday, July 31. On this day, Connex will also donate $1 to Peter Mac for every ticket bought at a Connex Ticket Office. Together we can beat last year's total of $80,358 raised for cancer research.

Tempting...

long time no see // new addition to the game

Been so tired and busy, therefore haven't had much time to update the blog. My countdown is 3 days left. That's right! Placement's been very good, I am starting to feel that I am going to miss the Head and Neck planning block. I have gain so much confidence in my planning skills using XIO. I can honestly say I have became a pro at using XIO, more than the university's crappy Theraplan+. I finished planning my case study today and the results... what can I say, Marvelous =D.

I received the results for the first case study write up, I honestly thought I would have failed it because I realised i left out quite a bit of the components required in the criteria. I can't believe the marks I received. Speechless...

New addition

New site hungbythread.com.au is up. Run by the people, who has been holding Empire Workshop sales down for the past years. They stock Addict, Boxfresh, Evisu shoos to name a few. Also they are having a sale this coming weekend (12/07/08), which I will miss out because of being in Philip Island with ff and some friends. Luckily they have a VIP night on Friday, which I might go if I have nothing better to do.
